Hey guys, so im planning to take out my aftermarket exhaust and putting back the stock exhaust. However im not sure if there is suppose to be a dent in the pipe, i have circled it in red, please confirm if you guys remember seeing a dent in the pipe also. Thanks

Probably not a "dent" but specifically meant to clear some other part of your car. Unless you can clearly see the pipe was banged, smashed and shows marks.

i looked closely, i can't tell, looks smooth enough to look like it was there before, but at sametime couldeve been dented by something smooth. Not too sure on the history on the stock exhaust since i just bought this car and the previous owner gave the stock exhaust also. The realoem picture shows a mark in the circled area, so almost looks like its suppose to be there.

Reason im wondering is that im getting the stock mounted in few days, and wondering i should get the guys to pound it out/replace pipe during the install.

The dent is to clear some component in that area under the car. Suspension component, perhaps.
