who are you insured with? i work for state farm and our adjusters will never tell you that you must take it to one of our select service shops. you may go to any shop of your choice. as for an adjustors estimate, there is no point in arguing. the price the offer is what the will give. your only other option is take it to a shop and have the adjuster meet your there. that way, the shop can tell the adjuster how much parts and labor cost for a complete repair.
