Took the car in for an oil change today and the service writer noticed the RR door had a fairly good size dent, looked like from a hip or something, not another door. Anyway the company "Dent Wizard" works at the dealer also, he removed the dent without taking the door apart. Amazing, looks as good as new! Bad news is that it cost 199.-, but I am happy.

$199 sounds like a deal. Happiness is a dent free Bimmer.

When I had my 3 series I paid $120 and it felt like the most well spent $120 ever.

I had a door dent in the front passenger door that was removed the same way. Also cost $199. It was well worth it to have my ride as good as new again!

Boy that sounds expensive - in the UK you can get this done for 50 GBP (~ $85)

True ! Unforunatley nice cars like the E60 attract attention and as part of that you always get a small element of jealosy. My car has had several carpark dents (including two at the same time) and had even had screws jammed under the tyres.
