Yes, my typo;;I meant Mark. I've had Euros on the brain for soooo long now...... But that is how it was back in the 80's, price increases for every BMW model every 3 months.

As far as Europe is concerned I have seen the number of price increases on both continents to have been pretty consistent, at least for the E60. While BMW is really making good profits on European sales with a strong Euro, they have still raised prices substantially when they introduced a redesigned model like the E60.
Although BMW really doesn't need to raise prices in Europe because of exchange rates, the fact that the U.S. is their biggest market may make it difficult for them to raise U.S. prices enough to offset the exchange rate. They don't want to be outpriced by other competition in the U.S., so they may be finding the need to spread the price increases out all over the world.
Bottom line: if they're raising prices in a country where the exchange rate is in their favor, you can be sure they'll follow up here in the U.S. sooner or later.
Probably sooner...
