Hello,

A new owner since yesterday ...
I've searched a lot in this forum, but couldn't find on answer on this:

Is there a way to display something else than the default "configuration" screen (the one with the 4 arrows)on the idrive screen?
When driving (without navigation, just listening to the radio or cd for isntance) I would like i.e. to have the radio channel name displayed in "big" letters, a logo or something else. The radio layout (with the different channels on these bars I've discovered already). The default configuration screen is a bit, yeah 'default'

I hope you understand what I mean

Don't you already get the radio station on the bottom bar when on the default (home) screen?

Hi Sven, no not possible that is part of sw of the e60, some has to crack that first, then the possibility to mess up w the system is quite high. May be with time.

From Oosterzele, between Wetteren and Zottegem (E40 Ghent).
And yes, enjoying the car very much ...

And yes, the radio channel is in the left, lower corner of the screen.
I just wanted a nice 'default' screen on the idrive
