deep sea blue vs Monaco blue

I saw deep sea blue today for the first time. It was very different then Mystic Blue that it replaced. It was darker but it had a very light tint of Monaco Blue in it. I delivered one today with Creme Interior and it looked beautiful! I will upload some pics in a few!

never heard of deep sea blue i didnt know it was an option on bmw wow!!!

This color replaced Mystic Blue, not Monaco Blue.

I'm quite surprised that this color is darker than mystic blue. I just thought that that was the problem of the color being quite unpopular. It should be brighter, much to the color of interlagos blue . E60 is really missing a real blue color instead of marine blue alike: deep sea blue, monaco, carbon. All too dark :thumbsdown:

The picture above (which has been featured elsewhere in this forum IIRC) seems to be identical to Mystic Blue.

Unfortunately there are so many variables in any type of photography and presetation of the image, that it is impossible to get a "reference" representation of the shade using photography.
