Decided to change up the garage

So I had racked up quite a few miles on my E39 (165k) so I decided to get a replacement 5er. While at the BMW dealership looking at a 525 they made me an offer on my Vette. I decided that the money was right and signed the deal on an 05 545i CPO that was begging for a home. I already have moments that I miss the Vette, but it had a good run. The balance and the extremely light weight feeling of such a large sedan is just amazing. I have been lurking for a week and searching all the useful topics and it looks like a great forum and community of owners. I am headed for a beach trip tonight so I am sure the long range comfort of the E60 will put the Vette remorse out mind.

Yeah that is Fairway green - it was available in 97 and 98. There were 262 in 1998 Fairway Green. That uniqueness is one thing I will miss, just means I need to do something special to the E60.

Yeah I am headed to the Morehead City/Atlantic Beach area. Headed offshore fishing, with the heat wave over here right now the ocean should be flat.
