My Ride: Black 520i, Black leather interior, Active Steering, DSC, PDC, Ornamental grille, Audio Aux Input

Heated the glue with hair dryer then used dental floss to remove the stuck on numbers
have some remaining adhesive on the car - what is the best way to remove that?

I don't know for sure. Griott's has some good tar and bug remover. Maybe they now have some adhesive remover. Others will know what has worked for them. But, in the interim, check out Griott's online. And, of course, be careful with what you try. Once you've put something bad on the car, well, the fix might not be so easy.

I only used soap and water and rubbed them off with a piece of terry cloth...not a big deal...no marks whatsoever...

I was looking last summer when my dealer rep took the badge off at my new car delivery.

He heated it first up with a hairdryer kind of device (but be sure not to overheat the paint).

Then he scratched it off with a screwdriver or something (at this point my heart stopped).

After this (my heart started to function again) he polished the surface with a cleener and then waxed it.

It worked out great but be careful!

3M adhesive remover, or Goo Gone. Then wash & wax area.
