I drive a BMW 525. I buy my clothes at Wal-Mart. I wear a G-Shock Timex. But take a look at my 1099 at year end, and its ALL good, baby!

Again, just shut up and drive.

I recently pulled up in a mall parking lot....a few guys were standing on the sidewalk chatting....as I drove up one of the guys says to his friends: "wow....check out that car" all his friends turn around and stare at me as I slowly drove by....by the time I pass them and they're looking at the backside of my car, I hear: "ahhh...man...its only a 530..."
Hahaha! So true. I'm going to take the "4x4" off my durango and glue it on the back of my bimmer. Afterall, I do have AWD. That should throw some people through a loop.

Hi All,

I am going to be dropping my car off to the dealer to get my battery replaced and to have a load test done to ensure my alternator is ok.

Link about my battery issue:
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=31449

I was also considering having them debadge my 545i while it is at the dealer.

Just curious what others opinions are of a debadged 545i. Initially, I didn't want to debadge it; however, after seeing a few debadged E60 in person it looks great! Also, I think it gives it that very clean look. Thanks in advance!
My opinion: definately debadge !!!

Why; the badge doesn't make sense. It is like some cars have badges like ESP, airco etc etc. Why not put all your options there? Car (BMW) lovers see the difference anyway. And your car will definately look better without the ugly numbers. So lose that extra weight and you might even be faster.

The first thing I did after I got my car was debadging it. Before you start your comments: my pics where taken just before the debadging ritual!

This guy either spend so much money on a 520, that he better bought a M5 in the first place, or did a lousy job in undercovering his M5.

You could probabely tell from the front....fog lights?

Confused me too. I was thinking the Quad exhaust... I agree though, either a waste of money or a bad disguise. Maybe he is trying to disguise it from a thief!... yeah, okay...

Whatever he's doing, he seems to be getting a ticket (in the first photo) (or maybe that's just the parking guy)
