yikes. brutal man. yea i get sick to my stomach when i see this crap. all the money u spent on wheels and tires only to be ruined because of poor money mangement by the government. jersey had like 140,000 pothole complaints this summer. the state purchased 6 huge pothole filler trucks that spray the potle hole up and heat it in under 10 seconds.. supposed to last a long time too. i just wish they would tear roads up and repave.

Agreed 100% NY/parts of NJ have some of the crappiest roads by far. These cars weren't designed for these roads

Sorry to hear man.

In January, following a harsh winter, (mild in comparison to winters I've seen in the Windy City), here in the UK we had so many of these bloody satan pits. Councils were refusing, and still are, to compensate drivers who funked up their alloys / tyres / suspension. Not acceptable as far as I'm concerned.

I think the MODs should create a pothole patrol post ... to help forewarn us before we venture out. Or, at least, after one has swallowed a wheel or tire there's evidence that the crater existed earlier and didn't mysteriously appear as someone's wheel passed over it!

That sting of a "ding on your bling", eh? I bent a rim just about a month ago - on the outer side of the wheel, right where the spoke meets the rim. Wasted an almost new tire too. I'm sure something good will come out of it
