Dealer said they couldn't duplicate the problem

Since your warranty is up in 15 days it IS VERY IMPORTANT that you get a work order back from them which documents your complaint in detail while still inside the warranty. Once you have that, regardless of how long it takes them to duplicate the problem, you have irrefutable evidence that you brought the defect to their attention while inside the warranty. It's their problem if they can't take the time to identify, correctly diagnose and repair the problem.

Brought the car in today and took it for a test ride with the service guy couldn't get the knock in the steering but he could replicate the knock in the telescopic adjustment.

Unlock the steering but don't turn the ignition switch. Now turn the steering wheel left-right-left-right fast with short 4-5 inch moves but continuously. You will hear the steering rack knocking...

this is the same problem i had when i bought my car on nov of 08, a little over two months!!! They replaced the steering rack, so they say..... now im haveing the same problem again when i turn left!!

my car was at the dealer for the same problem again and this dealership knows now what is klunking, ill post tomorrow what part they are going to change out!!! all i know is its part of the steering rack again!!!
