DEALER INFORMATION RIGHT?

I recently bought some after market led bulbs to replace my angel eyes on my 2007 e60 (xenon lights), but, even though I like the white collor they have at night.... they are useless as DRL... SO...
I called the dealer and explain the whole thing... and actually I asked if the bulbs for an X6 would fit mine without having computer errors (as I just saw one X6 pass by and its stock angel eyes, even though yellow, were very bright for DRL).. and the dealer said:
1. Yes, according to our catalog, they fit 1,3,5, x series for 2007 and up (with xenon lights), they are actually an H8 bulb of 35W....
Is this info correct??? Some of you may ask why am I asking if the dealer already told me yes... well.. had big issues of misinformation with my dealer before so.....
And... if this H8 bulb of 35W works.. why most of all aftermarket products offer 3W,6W or the maximum brightness (so i´ve heard) of 10W to replace the stock ones???
Any thoughts??

Your comparing 35w incandescent bulbs to 10w Led. The wattage it takes to drive the bulb is not an indication of its luminous intensity. A 10w led angle eye replacement is typically the same "brightness" as the stock 35w bulb.

Check and make sure the kind of AE your car using ... AFAIK H8 bulb AE is for LCI model ... your 2007 is an LCI?

Opinion only, but after spending $$$ for several different models (ebay, Umnitza, MTEC V2.1), I figured something out: The car looks better with the amber halos. It really does. You lose a lot of the cool contrast when the Xenons are on, and no matter what these sales schmucks tell you, you really can't see the LEDs in full, bright daylight. That's why I switched back...

for your 2007, you cannot get an H8 bulb, it will not work.
The brightest plug and play unit is ICE VXX, you can get white and it's the brightest possible but it's not as Daytime visible as you want. So the best thing to do is to get the Orion V2 and cut up your headlight to install them.

New member and owner, but have been lurking for a while. One thing I learned is the newer "white" halos are designed differently and transmit more light from bulbs, hence why they are so much brighter then older models when owners simply replace the bulbs. The X6 probably has bigger headlight housing with better light transmitting halos. Hope that makes sense.
I also am now thinking of leaving them stock yellow, as i like the contrast with the xenon at night.
