Dealer Experience/Part Number needed
Parts Link
I was happy yesterday after picking up my e60 from the dealer. A few hours later, I went to pick up my dad. As I was driving on the highway (US 287 business) this cat just comes out of nowhere and gets hit from my front bumper. (it wasn't a black cat)
When I pulled over and stopped, i saw a msg. on my screen: LEFT FRONT FOGLIGHT MALFUNCTION. Instantly I knew something was F'd. I go check it out and my fog light is hanging on the floor and my bracket that holds the fog light isn't there any more.
I usually go to Autobahn BMW in downtown ft. worth, but I was in Arlington so I stopped at Moritza BMW. 3 words: Horrible customer service. I explained to the guy at parts dept. what I needed and even showed him a picture and he straight up told me that he can not find anything without a part #. He told me to take off the other peice from the other side and get a part number. He said they might not be able to get it since it's not a OEM BMW part. I genrously explained to him that it is the M AERO Kit that BMW sells. And I told him that it is an original accessory. He argued with me that BMW doesn't really make those parts. I was like "oh kayyy" and walked out. THen I went to the service dept. to get the windows tinted. The front receptionish half hottie looking chick didn't know the cost to get the windows tinted and she pointed at Joe and advised me to go to Joe. I went to Joe, and Joe told me $199 but then he told me it's better if I get them tinted else where. He pulls out a business card holder binder and tells me to go a different place. He asked me if I had my cell so I can type there number. I left the cell in my car, so the service advisor (Joe) made me a photocopy of a whole bunch of his business cards.
Now, to go back to my original question, can someone please help me find the part number for the left front fog light bracket for an oem MTECH front bumper. I tried searching and came across this part (link posted above) on allbmwoemparts dot com

Damn, that was a crappy dealer you went to. You know it's bad when even a hottie doesn't make it any better.

Call Garry Romani @ BMW of Newport tell him what you need and he will sell it cheaper and ship it lightning fast to your door.

@ pjinca: thanks, I totally agree. I like my women to be sexy and smart!
@ 5ersport: Yea, I totally forgot about Garry, thanks.
@theXman: You are a life saver, thanks a bunch!
BTW: Is there any way I can edit my original post. I just noticed a whole bunch of spelling errors
