Dead battery - Nothing is happening- Please help

Hello All,
I was out of town for 2 weeks, when Came back, car didnt respond to key button. So I opened the door with key (physically). Lights didn't turned on.
then I tried jumping the car (from under the hood) with friends car (with proper poles) but nothing worked. Nothing is starting, No lights nothing
Please help

Are you sure there was a solid connection between the cars? Sometimes when I'm jumping I think there is but when I use a voltmeter to measure the volts, there's nothing.
Try moving the connectors around. Also, how did you hook up the jumper cables?

Then the other car was running. I did the same thing in past and it has worked

Service center has changed the battery about an year ago when car got its last warrenty service

After opening the hood, I connected the +ve to a clip that is under a red cap. Then -ve to ground. that is to a aluminum bolt like knob.

I would put another battery on it as its likley that your immobiliser has drained all the power out of your battery, check all the connections also if jump starting!

its in the trunk. check the owners manual. it is the time of year where terminals get nasty. there is even a problem with some e60 batterys getting completely wet from otuside water (dont know anythign about that)

when you connect it up your car's lights should come on strong.
