funny how differently people see this -- you can swap out your grills, change your wheels, etc. to make your car look better, but with some people / countries all hell breaks loose if you remove the badge to make it look better! I'm not saying either is right or wrong, just interesting to see the reactions being posted here. (BTW, in case you missed it, I'm for de-badging to make the car look good and see it as any other optical enhancement)
Plus he said, YOU ARE THE ONE DRIVING THE CAR AND YOUR ARE THE ONE SAVING ON GAS. If gas wasnt 1.23$/L, you wouldve got a 545i. But regardless of that, your listening to a bunch of idiots who are jealous of you. dont let them get the best of you. Enjoy it and luv it. Its a beautiful car and keep taking care of it.

I hope im not disrespecting anyone that drives a 525, 520d, 530 etc, but I have notice even in the Audi circles that more times then not when someone de-badges their car its usually a lower end of that model. When I had my A4 almost more then not when some de-badged their Audi it was a 1.8T and not the 3.0.
My only assumption for the de-badging is that owner is ashamed that they got the lower end model, similar to guys that Badge their 545 or 550 with an M5 badge after they put the M5 conversion kit. Thats so fake!
Honestly if you do that for that reason then youre a wanna be.

Ppl that know BMW's are going to know exactly what your driving regardless. I think it looks better with no badge!
Personally I love not having the 535xi badge. It looks cleaner, and more reason for ppl to say "WTF was that beast" after I blow by them
