I too joined the group of the DBC failure victims. I sent my car in telling them that the SZL module may require changing. However my car was returned without the part actually being replaced. All they did was reset the software and returned it. As expected the fault returned. The second time too I insisted that the SZL module be replaced but they said that was not the issue.

Apparently it's a gearbox valve that is leaking. The part is not available in the UK and needs to be ordered from Germany. Could take up to 3 weeks to arrive and then they will require the car to be booked in for 2 days. Anyone know what my dealer is up to and what part is he talking about.

My dealer says my car is "safe" to drive while I wait for the part.

While I'm still waiting for the 'part' to arrive from Germany I can now almost recreate this DSC fault. What I need to do is drive along at about 65 mph engage the cruise control and then using the cruise control increase speed by another 5 mph. That's when I hear the chime and all amber lights turn on. Ofcourse all returns to normal after I turn the engine off. Anyone else notice this .
