my light just came on the dash, then on the idrive saying my daytime running lights are out.... looked out side and the passenger side lights are out....
all the other lights work.... is it worth going to dealer to fix? or can i just do a quick fix with a bulb?
the regular lights on that side work, just the daytime lights are out....

I'd not bother with having to go to the dealer unless you've got a few other minor/at least one major issues - just not worth not having the car for as long as the dealer takes.

The instructions for replacing the lamps are in the manual. On the LCI, the dedicated DRL lamp is an H8 35 watt type and should be a simply DIY...

If it's under warranty, why not have the dealer do it? I'd make an appointment for a Saturday morning and read the paper, drink their coffee, and eat their bagels for less than an hour and also look at the other sweet cars on the showroom floor.

That's what I did! Not sure if the OP has an LCI car but the task is somewhat more difficult for the LCI versions... Still doable but being under warranty, I left it to the professionals.

I hope you also drank their coffee and ate their bagels. Good to hear it was resolved fast. I love going to my dealership. The cars are hot and the coffee is even hooter.
