Can someone post a picture of the car with the DLR's on? What happens when you turn on the angel eyes and the regular headlights? Do the DLR's stay on?

DRL (halogens not xenons) are always on regardless of light switch position. in the event of switching on angel eyes, they are still there located inside the circle close to the grill.
i always leave light switch position to 'A' automatic, light sensor will detect if xenons are required, when ignition is switched off the angel eyes and dash illumation stays on until door is open, DLR is off.

So the DLR's stay on even when the regular headlights are on?? So you look like you have your high beam's on to on coming traffic? All 4 light circles burning?

So if you don't have DLR's active the lights closest to the center are never used?

Any pictures?

Not sure on your first question but the inner lights are also used when you use the turn signal stalk to flash your lights, i.e. pull the stalk toward you and let it spring back. Pushing the stalk back turns on the brights. I hope I don't have that reversed.

So you lose the ability to flash your lights if you have the DLR's active? (DLR's are active in all positions of the headlight switch)

Sorry but I am trying to decide if I should have this option activated by the dealer or not. Right now I am leaning toward NOT. It would be nice to be able to turn the DLR's on and off ourselves. This may be a good poll question.

Nobody has a picture?

I think you can still flash with DRL's. There's probably a dual filament bulb in there (sort of like a low/high beam).

I think the reason you can't select DRL's for yourself is because some places (Canada for sure) require that cars built after a certain date have DRL's. Maybe they don't want Canadians turning them off and they didn't want to have two versions of software for North America? (Matrix or rollee could probably confirm the Canada thing and most likely could post a pic for us.)

Are DRL's even an option in Europe?
