Hey, I may be a little late with this one...but I just learned of this Davide Arcangeli guy who designed the 5 Series under Chris Bangle's direction. (Anyone have a photo of him?) I guess he passed away due to leukemia. I just thought I would mention this in honor and memory of him and his creating the E60 and what eventually made this website exist!

The only photo of a Davide Arcangeli I found on the net is a guy in Italy.
Don't think it's the same guy.

My thoughts and prayers go to his family.

I thought Adrian Van Hooydonk was the guy who actually penned the design.

Aloha,

That's the article I read! Anyway, I believe under Chris Bangle, the 5, 6, and the Z4 were penned by separate people...I'm not sure if it was actual Bangle that drew the 7...someone here must know???

van Hooydonk, "designed the 7-series almost single handedly - he even refers to it as 'my car'."

Thanks Heezy. Now I wish I can find a write-up and photo of Davide - anyone?
