On the bottom left corner of my i-drive (non-nav), the audio info is displayed (CD-10 or Station name ...etc) But one day, I noticed when I first start the car, the 'date' was displayed there for about 1 sec....then changed back to audio. Is there a way to make the date stay? I tried turning off the audio but all it does is to have a 'no sound' logo displayed in the middle....??

Thanks!

I've nav to, and when I'm not using the NAV system my screen shows the date:

When using the NAV, the right side shows km to destination:

Thanks guys...unfortunately, I don't have NAV.

I guess BMW thinks that people like me who doesn't have NAV needs to memorize map routes anyway, so they flash the date for 1 sec and assume that we remember that too!
