hey everyone i have Data transmission fault service notafication.... im bringing back to BMW so does that mean i have tranny problem or they r just gonna reprogram it for me thx.....?????

 

No, it does not mean you have transmission fault.
It means that the 'BMW Assist' (sos/emergency phone stuff) was unable to 'phone home.' It's nothing to worry about and no reason to take it to the dealer (unless you have the BMW Assist).

 

i heard that the car may try to send out a service notice to the dealer so that they can contact you for service.
i wouldnt worry about it.
