I was playing around with the I Drive today and in the Service section it said "Data Transmission Failure 6/14/07 8:53AM." I have not noticed any issues with the car. Does anyone know what this means. Is it cause for concern? I took the car to the dealership about 2 months ago for its 1 year checkup. Thanks.

It was not able to connect to BMW Assistance service. Maybe your free trial expired.

Usually it's bad news You have to take the car back to BMW and buy yourself a Hyundai! Those type of warnings are not usually bad at all. Case in point, the warning is dated 6/14/07 8:53AM, and you've driven the car just fine ever since. If you are so inclined, you COULD call the dealer (or drop by) and see what they say, just for peace of mind. Don't worry, there is no Hyundai in your future due to this!

I see this come up every time I need an oil change or other service.
