I recently purchased a 2005 545i and one of the things that I am missing is a place to put my phone and other little crap that I seem to have. I hate things in my pockets. I find myself putting them up by the display for the iDrive, but the phone sometimes flies out and I don't like covering up the display. I also saw my brothers 2004 525i and it has a compartment between the CD drive and the row of buttons above the center console.

Where can I find a source for this compartment and swap it out? Is the reason that I don't have it that I have NAV and the DVD player needs this space?

I am also needing a couple other parts. The handle for the passenger side rear shade and maybe a replacement drivers beverage holder. It has a problem sticking and won't come out without a little help. It may just need a new spring or something, but I haven't been able to find a diagram or parts.

I am also looking at doing either a Silver CF wrap on the trim or brushed aluminum. I have black interior and I think it would look a lot better than the wood grain that is currently there.

If you have NAV, that cubby hole space is now taken up by the CCC and DVD drive.
