Is there more to it than simply activating the windshield spray?

Hard to believe so, but I wouldn't be surprised if it required 3 clicks of the idrive..

They work... they only work every 3rd or 4th spray of the windshield... it doesnt spray every time the windshield sprays...

They should work automatically when you activate the windshield wiper fluid. I personally HATE the headlight washers because it gets damn near the entire front end of the car dirty.

i guess the only time I ever use my wiper fluid is in the winter whent eh car is typically dirty anyways.

Don't forget the headlights have to be on for it to work.

Nigxdoof -- you nailed it!

Pulled the car outside at night and they worked -- I thought I knew every little "nuance" in this car..Guess not

And yes, it did spray all over my hood too
