:'( Now eqiped my car with a gang plank to get to the kerbs.I think I am going to put a sign on my windshield where the Heads Up Display would be if I had that option that says "WATCH OUT FOR THE CURB YOU ----ING IDIOT!!!!"
...my friend drove my car this weekend and trying to avoid something in the middle of the road, she majorly rashed the passenger rear.
i was pissed! but what can i say after is done and over with. now i gotta have it repaired by wheel techniques..

I'm thinking about putting "Mike the rim guy" on a monthly retainer.

I like the gang plank idea.
And oh, my new motto, never ever parallel park when hungover.

Maybe I am just getting senile, but I have had an epidemic of rim rash. I now have had 4 incidents, and it is getting old. I had 19" BBS wheels on my M3, and only had one incident in 2 years. I am just curious as to whether other people are having this problem?????
I have no problem seeing nor feeling the cars front nor sides, the rear is my problem.
(Not my rear
)But I'm a young man, only 46

Please tell me it was not your OEM 167! :'(
yes..yes...it was my OEM 167. makes me sick to my stomach. i just need to stop being so darn anal w/ my cars..b/c everything thing i have done to the cars...it messes up. endless problems really. when i modded my lexus...problems. now, i modded the bmw..problems. just got the windshield tinted, and there is a kink in the film...a long line about 1' i have to call the tint guy and have them redo or fix it. and i doubt they can fix it. has to be redone. im hoping wheel techniques can fix my rim.. i had them fix my wald wheels from my lexus and its perfect. when i take my car to wheel techniques..i'll have them unmount my other wheels and mount the sensors on them for me too..hope after that...i wont be doing anything else to the car.
maybe u can send ur 166 wheel to wheel techniques...they do an awesome job.
