Still waiting anxiously for my new baby to arrive :'( , I called the dealer today to check on an ETA., my salesperson told me the vessel should hit VPC in 2 days and expect delivery between March 31st and April 3rd... 
I'm leaving on a business trip for 15 days on Aptil 4th and will be restless to know that my baby is collecting dust (and dings) at the dealer's lot if I won't be able to pick her up... does anyone volunteers to take delivery on my car if it won't be delivered by April 3rd ?

Gadgets, I fell ya! The same thing happened to me this week. My car arrived but I'm on a trip in Europe. Fortunately my wife took delivery, but as a result I received about a dozen calls on my mobile at international rates.
Realistically speaking do you really want someone else to welcome your new baby home? I think you are better off letting her stay at the nursery a few more days. But if you can't wait to get her home I could be convinced to drive two hours to help you out.
