I have noticed some of the forum members running Achilles tires on their cars, I was curious to know how they liked them? Usually I am a believer that you get what you pay for but sometimes you can find quality for a cheap price. I am looking into an all season tire and my main concern is road noise(I am by no means an aggressive driver). My 550i is a 2nd car that may see 3K a year and spends most of it's time garaged. I really am leaning towards Bridgestone Potenza 960's but was curious about such a cheap tire. Anyone who has a review of this brand of tire please share it, thanks all.

Best bang for the buck tire around are the General Xclaims - one of the highest rated tires on tirerack.com and one of the cheapest too. They are a really good option. As well as the Hankooks.

I have achilles and they work great! I was running Lexani LX9100s (all season) just before and there was no notable difference. I'm going to try Falkens or Nittos next.

Thanks for the input, I just could not find user reviews of them. I have read great things on the General'as well. Again, my main concern is road noise since my car will not see snow although my climate here can get into the single digits during winter.

hey man, I am glad I found this thread as well. I am looking for some rubber for my 20" Beyern Mesh wheels, and I also came upon the Achilles ATR Sport tires. Is that what you are running? How many miles have you put on them? I am pretty much only looking for a tire that is going to last a long time, I don't much care about handling performance and such; i also live in Southern Arizona, so we rarely see snow out here.

I see the have a UTQG: 400AAA, so I would assume they will last quite a long time since I casually drive around town.

I would be happy if I could get about 30k from my staggered setup, I have never had a car that had a staggered setup, but I would assume the tires do not last as long, since you can't rotate the tires
