CU bipolar on E60
#1
For the time I believe, the 2007 6-cylinder E60 is a "Recommended" car in the latest issue Consumer Reports, the annual auto issue. However, in the used car section of the same magazine, the short and disproportionately German "Cars to Avoid" list includes the 2005-2006 E60 6-cylinder RWD.
Whatever improvements have been made from 2006 to 2007, it's simply impossible to believe that the E60 was one of the worst cars in 2006 and one of the best in 2007. But dealers will be touting the new E60 as a CU recommended car while telling customers with trade-ins that their 2005/6 is a CU certified car to avoid.
