Any opinions on BMW dealers in southern CT. I am interested in which has the best service departments.

I would stick with BMW of Ridgefield as they always have a huge selection in stock, great people there as well. BMW of Darien is pretty good as well.

I guess I should have been a little clearer. I am buying a car. I am inquiring about service departments.I was hoping Ridgefield would be good as I live in Redding.

I personally haven't been to Ridgefield as Watertown is right down the road, but I've heard nothing but stellar reviews of that dealership...it's apparently "top notch" in the books of some.

It doesn't really matter where you buy your car because you can have it serviced anywhere. In fact, after the place you buy your car stops giving you the new customer perks, I suggest you try different dealerships. This is assuming you're buying new and will want to stick with a BMW dealership for the free maintenance work. For work that's outside of the warranty, I suggest you find a good indie.

I am buying a used 2010 535xi tomorrow if it is as described. It will have 48.5k miles when I get it home. Also considering extending the maintenence for another 3 years as it will be well under 100k in 3 years. Just weighing if it is worth $2300 as I did the work on my 4 previous BMW's (E38,E32, E30, E28).

i've been to ridgefield bmw many times to get things done to my e60 and e90 that i can not do myself, i have had good experience. you can also negotiate a abit with their service department. as for warranty, if you can afford it get it.
