Crooked steering wheel due to it being turned while motor stalled.

I let a friend, after begging, drive the car... big mistake!
He's a big guy, like 6'4", 275lbs, and while he was pulling out of the drive way he let the revs drop to low and the engine died. That's bad enough - but what sucked was that he was putting his weight into turning the wheel while it was dead.
When I started it, it said 'active steering failure' and then I straightened the wheel while something flashed on the screen that I do not remember but the steering wheel straightened itself some.
Now, the car seems to drive fine, but the steering wheel is off about 10 degrees to the right - is there any way I can fix this myself?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!

Perform the Active Steering reset procedure. Start the car. Turn the wheel right until it stops.. Turn the wheel left until it locks. Repeat. Turn car completely off. Restart. Perform again, if needed.

The reset procedure advancedlogic posted should do the trick. Alternatively, the car should correct itself eventually just by driving around. There are a TON of threads about this issue so if you want to learn more, do a little searching...
