I am wondering if all e60 owners who have had some kind of rattle, squeak, creak,or cracking noise in their cabin can list each one they have had and if they found a remedy what it was. This is one of the most expensive cars I have owned and has one of the noisest interiors. I am getting fed up. Please list your problems so maybe I can relate them to mine. Thanks again

:'( Yes - join the club - my backseat sounds like an old creaky wood floor. My 540 had its share of rattles and squeaks as well. I have posted here several times asking for remedies to the back seat but I haven't received any replies. If you fin out anything please post.

I have also read that, the cause of the problem is from the E60 SPORT PACKAGE
that was coming from the mouth of tech straight from the dealer (I believe I read that from this forum)

In my case it has to do with the runflat tires too.. I really find the ride harsh due to the tires. If I could choose again I would go for a spare tire and normal tires under the car. Unfortunately this isn't possible for me afterwards due to the fact that I don't have a spare tire space (it's a storage space in my car).

I'm not sure the Sport Package comment is valid. I have the package and so far I haven't heard any squeaks or rattles -- it's actually very quiet (probably jinxed it now )

I've got 5,000 miles, SP and folding rear seats and it's quiet and tight as a drum. Hope I haven't jinxed it. If it does make noise, it's back to the dealer for a fix.
