My 05 5er' has about 3k on it and is starting to develop some really annoying noises, the worst of which is a creaking noise from the drivers seat. I had hoped it was the door seals as there seems to be a fix for this here on the forum....however, this noise is easily reproducable by sitting stationary and simply putting pressure on, or taking it off the seat back.
Can someone help me isolate this?
Will be BMW service give a damn about it?
Does any one out there have this problem and find it acceptable?
I have to tell you, a few more prominent noises and software glitches and that MB E350 I didn't buy is going to be haunting me!
Look, I know its a great car and it drives beautifully - but it simply should not have some of the problems it has....I hope BMW is listening!

I have the same problem.
I'm so glad there are some of your guys with the same problem.
But I do not like the solution...... to lubricate the parts. Come on that is like with the door seals, BMW likes to lubricate a lot.
So anyone with a definite solution? other then lubrication?
