Crappy Cup Holders!!!

It seems that everyone is thinking that I'm crazy... 
Let me assure you that I am not and there is indeed a difference between the two. Trust me. I have actually driven both cars and have tried the cup holders myself. My SA agreed that they redesigned the darn things because the old model SUCKS!!! I just really need to know if they are interchangeable before I go out and spend BMW kind of money only to find out that the new one won't fit. I may have to go talk to the SA to see if he would be willing to experiment on my car to see if this will work. I will be a nice guy and will let you all know if it does fit and how much it costs to purchase the parts.

Rule #1 in my car NO FOOD or Drinks ( other than water ), never used the cup holders once , and they do look crappy BTW
