Default Cranking no start - e60 530d 2006

Hi All,
Newbie to the site looking for some help please. Excuse the long post but need help as running out of ideas. Car is a slight front end damaged from auction that I want to get going again. I am petrol savvy but not diesel!
What I have done so far with hour any change:
All fuses checked (glove box, boot and engine bay section checked also)
Recharged battery and disconnected IBS ( no crank without IBS disconnected)
Simple OBDII connector showing no codes
Under seat fuel pump checked ok, plus disconnected clear fuel hose in engine bay and easily pumping fuel!
MAF removed cleaned as best as possible and refitted
Tried to squirt “quick start” into airbox without anything changing on cranking
Finally tried to jump start with another car to “boost” cranking - no change

Maybe need to test some other sensors (CPS, MAF, rail fuel pressure etc)? Having unsuccessfully searched the web for a 530d sensor diagram/ location map, I am getting pretty desperate with the limited info available.

I’m normally pretty handy with cars but this has thrown me completely! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Try to obtain a BMW specific OBD code reader and not a generic code reader and see what you come up with. If a diesel won't start with ether as a starting aid, something is way off.

Try disconnecting the maf, I had this, dodgy ibs sensor faultly turned off the injectors and gave no error codes... disconnect ibs, then disconect maf and it should start if no timing chain issues, once its starts maf is good to connect, no maf it goes into default settings. If it works you owe me a beer

Check the crankshaft sensor?
If faulty, engine will crank but not start.
Sensor needs to be replaced.
