I know that i can crank my car up.. shut it off.. then pull the key out.. and it will let me crank it again with no key. Just once.

Is there a way to do this without cranking it up first?
The valet at work keeps moving my car around, he says "to make it look busy" but my car is obvious enough that i dont think people think its a new car everytime just because he moved it over a space.
So i wanna crank it with no key so when they shut it off they will just have to leave it where it is until i get off.

Is there a way to do this without having to crank it and shut it off first?

Just crank it again with no key so he can't do it.

I know thats the easiest option.. but i was trying not to start it and shut it off unnecessarily.. 4 to 5 days a week times 52 weeks a year is just alot of unnecessary cranks.. but its def better than the other night when it got backed in , in front of the door, then moved at LEAST 3 times.

Or just tell him not to move your f'ing car! Sorry I'm not helping but I wasn't even aware that this happened.

lol.. i did that already.. and some words were exchanged.. and the problem might be solved.. but this seems like perfect insurance to make sure it never happens again not just here but in general.

And yea.. a modded 550i is pretty uncommon here my car has beaten gt-r's , slr's and a handful of other "exotics" at shows here and since its one of our daily drivers, it usually gets parked right up front when we go out to places that have valet, in the "look at what kind of customers we have" spots.. but at my work they will park it in one of the 4 spots we have banking our doorway.. but as soon as something equally attention getting comes in (since im an employee) they move mine to one of the normal spots.. and as soon as they leave they move mine back.

I told them i dont care if its parked up front of not, but if it is LEAVE IT THERE. It has litterally been moved apwards of 4 times in a night.. which too me is too many chances to ding doors, curb rims, check bumpers, and just basic wear and tear for cranking it up and moving it around 4 extra times a night.

Take the bus to work ... Then tell your valet parking attendant to move that baby around to look busy
