Hi guys,
I went to the mechanic and he suggested that after diagnostics, he said I need to replace the steering angle sensor.
I drive a 07 550i AT with 77,000 miles.
The problem I have is that when I start my daily drive, within 2 miles, I step on the gas aggressively as I enter the on-ramp to the freeway. Not too sure it the car ha been warmed up. Soon after, the engine craps out for a few seconds and then the computer turns off and resets. Then the brake symbol as well as the traction control symbol comes on with a message to drive the car moderately. Whenever I would step on the gas again, the computer resets again.
After parking the car and revving the engine, the problem went away. I did a couple 0-60 on a side street and nothing went wrong.
Is the related to the steering wheel Sensor?
Temperature was mid 80's outside

This could be from a pulse sensor/generator, Camshaft position sensor(if you have that on your car), steering angle sensor, transmission module, or the entire ABS. However, in the past I have only seen this combo in conjuction with the pulse generator/sensor (whatever it is on your car) and/or camshaft position sensor. If it were just the steering angle sensor, you would get lights but your car would not shut off. Make sure your battery is checked and is not moving or sliding around and is sufficiently charged. In order to replace the steering angle sensor you will have to make sure the car is aligned properly and then replace and adjusted. Do you have active steering? Have you checked your fluid level? Battery?

Ok...so i checked the battery and the negative terminal was loose. Since i have tightened the terminal, i have not had an issue.
I'll drive it around for a week and hopefully that solves the problem.
