Today i noticed a pool of water under my 04 545. A good amount. Poped opened the hood and noticed the leak under the reservoir?

Is this correct? What could be the failure here? Hose or clamp? How easy is this fix? Cost?

Thanks for any help, i just ran outa warranty so think I will or should i attempt to repair this?

Coolant reseviour looks cracked. Replace immediately. I would NOT drive it until you have it fixed.

Depends on how handy you are if you fix it or take it in. Would be nice to see the actual crack or wherever it is leaking from.

I'd get one an inspection mirror and look under the tank.

The tank is pressurized. Be careful about taking the cap off.

Coolant tank is about $85. Have not done it myself, but it looks pretty easy to replace.

[u]Hi there, I just had my expantion tank blow out !! replacement was £50 ($75) and easy to replace.
Your coolant is dripping out of the overflow pipe under the tank or a crack.
Can you take the tank out and have a look?

I haven't had look but everyone seems to lean towards a cracked tank. I will pop it out and take a look.

Thanks
