hello everyone, i'm in the market for winter tires size for my '06 530i sport. The size will be 245/40-18", there are no reviews on the tirereck site. Anyone have these, are they an improvement over previous conti- I do not want to buy Dunlops.

I can tell you that the TS810S got a top rating during the tests that are done in Germany every year. The 810s was in the top 3. Should be a good tire for your car.

I use to have 205/55 R16 TS810s... on the snow and ice and on the wet surface for me the best tyres. but on the curves michelin and pirelli is better. Also for fast driving and quick stops the continental is better.(on the snow) maybe I wrong but these are my impressions.

Depends on the driving...fast highway ....continental
town .....michelin
bad roads many curves....pirelli

don't buy dunlop....ithink it is a hard tyre.

Now i have Continental ts790 old model.....i got them for a good price... performance is ok. not the best but satisfied.

TS810S here !!!
I have them and I love them. I would say the best option for such a driving machine and high performance as BMW. Unless you live in Alaska or mountains go for them.

I had conti and i was very sastified. But I had all season and they went thru two years with no problems: ice, snow, rain, and wet.
