I find the manual confusing (on many subjects). I think it is written by European folks and then translated. Their style and phraseology doesn't always jibe with mine.

Then, also when I play with the lights in a store window, they seem to do things I don't read about or expect.

The forum will no doubt iron all this out.
In an effort to help "iron things out" -- I'd like to dispute your claim that the cornering light beams move. I don't think they do...

Ja, I believe that they are fixed, and do not move.

I would like to thank you for expanding my vocabulary with the terms "confuser" and "phraseology" Aside from this, I have the Dynamics and they do their little auto-leveling bit when I turn on the car, but they still don't seem to move when turning the wheel, neither at slow nor fast speeds.

This may be a dumb question but are you setting the lights on manual (switch turned clockwise) or are you setting them on automatic (switch turned counter-clockwise)?

They'll only swivel if you switch them to automatic mode...

As an FYI, and just to add to the mix of confusing information, I have poverty spec non-xenon, non-adaptive halogen headlights on an LCI and even they do their little 'wiggle' when the car is first started. Even my 2000 E46 did this.......

+1, spent the money on other things, like wheels, oh and diesel!

Rudy, I have come to respect your apparent knowledge and your approach to these issues. But something moves. Watch the emoticon ...

I still don't see the light.

The headlights do move slightly, however, the cornering lights are stationary. Their lenses are angled to light up the side...but I don't believe they move.
