Just went for 200 miles with new E60 520d. And just as the rain showed up, I noticed some condensation appearing on both front light shields (see picture). Is this usual ? Just because the car is new ? Do we need to go back to the dealer ? Or is everything going to clear up pretty soon ?
Many thanks for your help and advices ![attachment=18478:attachment]

Relax - there's is no problem with your lights! They mist up on every E60. My last one did it and so does my current car. Apparently they're vented and will mist up in wet weather. Soon disappears when they're switched on.

I'm having that problem too after I've washed the car!
Do they change the headlight for free when there is condensation inside?
Our turn signals have water inside, almost constantly !!

Side repeater Turn signals can be replaced, I have had two replaced for water getting inside, the seals can go.
Mist inside the headlights is less of a problem, they are not completly sealed so moist air inside will mist them up when the temperature drops. They soon clear.
larger amounts of water are not normal however.
