Cripes - with a list like that it makes me a bit nervous that I've just ordered my first BMW... :'(
The two problems above have been my only problems except for a "bad" software update that can't be undone. The software update prevents me from completely turning DSC and DTC off as I was able to originally. I say if you are going to be nervous about something, then, IMO, it ought to be BMW software updates. But, of course, most times they fix more important things than they break--I guess.

I forgot to mention:

16. Bad AC smell after turning it off (The dealer sprayed some chemical and it was OK for 2 weeks) I think a lot of cars do that, so I accepted it.

Regarding the Anti-trap problem mentioned by jiilo, I've complained to the service advisor that my window would sometimes refuse to close. Especially if I use auto-up and it will go up a half way and then come back down. They said that it's caused by my window tinting film being too thick. They can't do anything about it since I tinted it.

The little pebbling sound mentioned by CVTBenhogan happend quite oftenly. I think it's due to actual rock pebbles being kicked up by the cars in front. My front bumper and the windshield is full of tiny scars made by these pebbles. Now, if you are not trailing any vehicles, on a smooth surface, when the pebbling sound come up, then you may have problem.

BS by your dealer about the tint and window. My window is tinted as well. BMW of San Diego replaced the window regulator (motor). Make your dealr replace the regulator.

I avoid the foul smell by leaving the AC on at all time except when engaging in spirited driving.

Its not pebbles hitting my front bumper, looks good. Its just that type of sound coming from dash or windshield. Seals?

Will see. Seems like its less frequent now with the weather cooling down and AC not being on.

Has anyone had the "creaky" brakes? My 530 "creaks" when your sitting at a stop light and you let up slightly on the brake peddle, or when you put the peddle down for the final "stop" on the brakes at slow speed. Seems to get do it less after you drive for about 20 minutes or so and the rotors heat up, but then next day, same thing. The car only has 350 miles on it so I'm wondering if the pads/rotors need to break in. I read about the bedding process, have not done that yet.

Has anyone else experienced this????????
