Hello,
I am new to the forum. I have searched but cannot find the specific info I am after, I apologise if this has already been covered before.
I am looking to purchase an E60 5 Series.
To help me with my purchase, I want to compare what is offered as standard on the ES, SE and Sport Models and any other variations there are - and a list of the optional extras. I have found various snippets of info but not one full comparison of these.
If anyone can point me in the right direction or tell me, it would be appreciated

You might want to check out the BMW web site to first understand the different models in the E60 series: 528, 530, 535, 550, M5 (not all were offered in all years). Then there's the variations: i, xi, ci, d, exc. Then look for a description of the various packages: sport, premium, winter, etc. which will tell you more of what is included. After you've done this, come back with specific questions and we'll help you zero in on the car of your desires.

Another suggestion would be to track down the 5 series brochure for your market (UK) for the specific year or year(s) you are looking at. You can usually find these on the net, or alternately some dealers keep copies on hand for reference on older years.
The brochure will have a table showing the standard/optional equipment on each model and the tech specs.
