Some advice.

I've owned a Mercedes AMG 190E, a BMW 325, a VW Shirocco 16V. Recommend you DO NOT let your BMW sit around in the garage. That is the most surefire way to have an expensive maintenance bill sneak up on you AFTER your warranty. You need to drive the machine to minimize the carbon build up and let the oil clean out the engine. Paying for fuel pumps because you let it sit around is not a fun thing ($2,300 for two in my AMG).

If you purchased such a fine machine to sit in the garage, why not take it to a local artist and have him/her turn it into a BMW Art car. Drive it or art it. Don't just let it sit around.

I don't understand the motive. It's like buying a box of condoms and sticking them in the medicine cabinet.
I use my 5 series for everyday communting, that's why I bought it. Then again I also have another BMW, M3 for my spirited driving on the weekends.

there's your answer. i bought a tsx for my everyday commuting on heavy stop and go traffic, my commute to work and home ain't no autobahn that's why i bought a tsx. commute will take me less than 20 minutes without traffic, with traffic it'll take me more than an hour and twenty minutes, might take longer. is idling your cars engine good? the bmw won't be totally sitting and i will still use it on weekends. i also have a honda cbr 929rr, doesnt' mean just because i bought it i have to ride it everyday. i use the bike whenever i want to go canyon carving.

and yes i do plan on changing the look of the bmw. i've had a 2003 330i zhp and was slowly changing stuff and nearly totalled the car when i was making a turn and ran it to some loose gravel and the car just went straight for the wall and damaged a lot of the suspension and the body. and that was driving it normal just got off work and was really tired. not even driving it like i stole it.
