I personally would never sacrifice function over form. I'd rather have a well-performing machine over one that looks better(which is subjective anyway) 10 outta 10 times

Tru, but I am assuming that since the OP installed shadowline trim after purchase, as well as no mention of sprt pkg in the sig that function and form would only benefit from lowering the car via aftermarket suspension.

I dropped my previous bimmer with eibach and koni shocks - never again.
Sports suspension is definitely just enough for me (both in form and function). My previous car had too many scrapes, I hit too many bumps, etc. Minor cracks on the road felt like potholes, potholes felt like it will loosen all my car's bolts, welds and screws in a few more thousand miles. I had to watch/read the road carefully vs. relaxed driving on a standard sports suspension. I had to reduce my speed considerably on any road imperfection.
The "normal" bimmer ride/suspension feeling that I really loved was definitely gone when I went through that route.
If I were you, I would try to hookup with a friend with a dropped suspension and drive your normal daily route and see if it works for you.
Don't be too "excited" about the "sharp" handling - because in a few days of having it, the "sharp" handling will turn to "stiff" (and I mean STIFF) and very unforgiving suspension. Just my personal opinion. YMMV.
PS
I just checked your car's pic and it looks nice with the 18's.
I would say, just stick with 19's and leave the stock suspension. Your back, your car, your family and yourself will thank you for it.

What was your previous BMW? And what Eibach kit was it?

Thank you for your opinion! I appreciate this point of view too!

I had an E46 coupe.
Can't remember which Eibach, my friend who owned a shop hooked me up - but I remember asking him to put the "softer" Eibach because I was too scared it will ride like crap. Big mistake! I was in my mid-20's to late 20's when I had that car and I didn't even liked it. Now at 32 with 2 kids, I'm sure I will never drop any of my cars.

I really appreciate the smooth ride. And my car is my daily driver, so I have to get in places.
One reason why my rear end looks kind of funny to me may be because of the wheel width, which is "only" 8 inches. Maybe going to wider 19" wheel helps too in looks even if not going to lowering springs . Spacers are not allowed in Finland. And that's absurd.
By the way is there any sense to retrofit the sport suspension from BMW? What would it cost?
