Comfort Seats - Are there too many adjustments?
As I consider which options to get when I order a new 530xi, comfort seats is one option I am not sure about. I'm afraid that with so many adjustments that I'll never be satisfied that I've got it "just right".
Do those of you with comfort seats find that you are constantly trying to find settings which are just a little bit better or do you find perfection right away?

The point of comfort seats is that there are many adjustments so that you have the option of adjusting them to your liking. If the adjustments weren't there, you may as well be sitting on a park bench.

I am very satisfied with them. I don't need to adjust them anymore. I have found a position that perfectly fits. Never had a seat like that before! Absolutely fantastic and worth every cent!

I am having a little gripe with comfort seat. It's very supportive yet gives you a cush but firm ride. However, I find the thight extension to be too short if fully retracted. I like to extend it out by about 1.25 inches. However, the un-upholstered gap is just plain ugly and will collect dust and dirt. Your butt will also feel the gap, and your pants or the edge of the cushion will get cought under your thight. I would think $1200 extra you pay vs. std. sport seats will buy you a bit more than 3 extra motors and some extra padding.

I like having all the adjustments and have become quite adept at using the controls. I change the position often depending on my mood. From up close and tight on the sides so I can push hard on the dead pedal to back and loose leaning on the center console or anywhere in between. It's nice to have some options on those long drives. At 6'5" not too many car seats are great and these are outstanding
