Hello every one,

does any one experience a squeaking noise when the bolsters tights in, Mine do only if the car parked in heat. Dealer states its normal however its only driver seat that does that noise. any one experienced this?

Please advise.

gotta love dealers. If it's anything more than a slight whine, it certainly doesn't seem 'normal', though it's maybe 'common'. If they don't agree that seats shouldn't squeak when they adjust on a $70k luxury car, I'd say it's time to find a new dealer.

Bull$hit.

I had the car in for the seat bolster squeak last summer (only when hot), squeaking seat backs, squeaking seat rails, squeaking clutch pedal. They fixed every one of them quickly, without the word "normal" ever passing the lips.

I also just got my car back from the dealer for a harmonic vibration at 2800 rpm.

You could barely hear it, but I knew it was likely louder on the outside, either under the car or the exhaust.

Dealer spent all day tracking it down to a slightly loose plastic underbody panel that was vibrating near the wheel well.
