My Ride: 530i, Sport Package, Premium Package, Navigation.
Is there a way to get the steering wheel to tilt up and out of the way to make getting into and out of a 2006 E60 easier?

My steering wheel moves up and away when the key is turned off.
When turned on, the wheel moves back into the last position.
When turned on, the wheel moves back into the last position.

I have the sport premium package in my 06 530i and my steering wheel does not move when I pull the key out or stop the engine via the start/stop button. Is there some setting in iDrive I have not found, or is this dealer activated function via programming?

Exactly! The tilt up "courtesy" feature won't work if your actual steering wheel position is already at the very top.
Hi jchuan8338 see my post I also forgot once that I set it topup and then I could not have the "show" so now all cool, lowest possible adjusted the seats lower and the backrest a bit before middle position, I think it is more comfortable and healthier...
