My Ride: 2006 E60 530 xi six speed manual/Silver gray-auburn/18inch-style123wheels/premium sound and package/HUD/PDC/sport/coldpackage/Sirius/M-aero kit/Nav/comfortseats/shades/comfort access
tires: 245 40 18 Sottozero Pirelli winters (non runflats)
2004 RX330 Lexus - crystal white - reliable, quiet, and the "beater" car for ski trips, hauling, etc.

I've been reading conflicting posts on this topic-
can you set the comfort access so that when you walk away from the car (without touching the area around the keyhole) the car will lock itself?

No you can not. Personally if it allowed that, I would not have gotten the option. The last thing I need is one of my kids sneaking in the car while I am washing it, and then I head inside the house and lock them in the car (note BMWs deadbolt when you lock them with the remote, you can NOT get out of them if this happens).
