I've been using the same Comfort access key since i purchased the car 2 years ago. However this morning the wife took my main keys by accident to work and i was i forced to use my second key. At 1st start up, everything seemed normal. But after second start up, I noticed that all the memory settings were lost and were reset. Does that mean that i lost my Garage Door Opener setting too?

Hi i havent got comfort access but i do know that the keys have indivual settings my wife has her own key and that adjusts seats, mirrors, steering colume height, and even the radio channel to suit her and when i use my key it puts it all back to my settings.

+1 on the keys.

Once I tried unlocking the car with actual door lock and key, and everything was different, just as you mention.

Once you go back to the original key, everything will be back to your "normal".

I may be wrong but I think the garage door (homelink) programming is not affected by the car/key memory settings...

+1 No impact on the homelink programming... it's stored in the mirror itself and not subject to the car/key memory settings.
