So, reluctantly I got a new battery the other day. But at least the SA gave me a "Goodwill" this time on replacing my front window molding and fixing my thigh extension for the passenger seat. He wanted to charge me $100+ for both of them the last time I went to the dealership - I declined. The day after getting the new battery I got the "High Battery Drain" again. Pissed!!! I Took the car directly to the shop since I was going away on business and would rather have the car serviced while I'm not home.

I knew my battery wasn't the culprit for my "High Battery Drain" But since I had the battery go dead a couple times and it was in the car since 2006 I didn't mind getting it. Besides, I've heard it's not good for your battery to go completely dead.

Before dropping the car off I typed up a list of possible issues for the SA to check. One was the Comfort Access. I guess they didn't really run any checks since they thought putting in a new battery would fix it. Well this time they found the Comfort Access guilty - WOW I'm shocked! I guess the SA felt bad selling me a battery and decided to wave the $50 CPO fee for the work. The door handles are on order. I still don't understand exactly what happened to them???? Not only will my 550 be ready by the time I return, but my Sprint Booster V2 should be home waiting to be installed. Oh, I made sure I uninstalled my SB V1 before dropping the car off.

Haha nice man, glad it's all sorted out!

BTW, will you be coming to the SoFla meet? There is a thread about it in the meet/greet discussion sub forum.

Kreed,
Have your shop check out the main Comfort Access module as well. My door handles were all OK but the main module wasn't going to sleep.
